What has been your greatest moment at Forvis Mazars so far?
I'd say it was the day I passed my accounting exam. I've never been so stressed waiting by my mailbox for the postman to deliver that dreaded letter informing you whether or not you passed your exams. Once the initial burst of joy and relief had subsided, my colleagues and I organized a get-together to celebrate.
What did you like about Forvis Mazars from the beginning?
Team spirit and accessible management. I joined Forvis Mazars on the day of their annual outing, known as Forvis Mazars Day. I was fascinated to see how well everyone got along and the resulting team cohesion. After only a few hours at the company, I found myself wrestling, dressed as a sumo wrestler, against the head of the audit team, who was giving me tips on how to take him down. That day, I knew I had truly made the right choice in joining the Forvis Mazars family.
If you had one piece of advice to give to your future colleagues?
Give it your all in the moment. Then, whether it succeeds or fails, at least you won't have any regrets.
