The assessment centre stage is designed to assess your strengths and be able to showcase yourself at your best using assessments that help reflect what it is like to work at Forvis Mazars. You are not required to complete any specific preparation and don’t need any prior specialist knowledge to complete any of the exercises. Our online assessment takes about five minutes and requires no preparation. It is simple to navigate and starts with a few warm-up questions to help you get comfortable with the format.

The assessment also promotes diversity and neurodiversity by understanding and adapting to individual differences in decision-making style. To set yourself up for success, take the assessment in a quiet, distraction-free space. Carefully read the instructions and be yourself – answering the questions honestly and instinctively.

After completing the assessment, you will receive a personalised feedback report, highlighting your strengths and development areas.

We believe sustainability is about people as much as the planet. That’s why we invest in inclusive career pathways, responsible business practices, and community partnerships that create long-term positive change. Every team member receives two volunteering days per year to support causes they care about and firm-sponsored initiatives, and we actively encourage fundraising efforts for charities through personal challenges and events. We also support charitable giving through the Forvis Mazars Foundation, which funds a wide range of social initiatives in the UK and abroad.

We’ve also brought forward our net zero target to 2045, with goals validated by the Science Based Targets initiative. From energy and transport to waste and procurement, we’re working to reduce our environmental footprint every day.

By combining global expertise with local action, we aim to build a fairer, greener, and more prosperous future, and we’re proud to be part of a business that sees sustainability as a shared responsibility.

I have been made an offer to join Forvis Mazars and require visa sponsorship what happens next?

If you’ve accepted an offer and require sponsorship, our Immigration team will initiate the sponsorship process for you around three months before your start date. They’ll confirm the documents needed for the visa application and timelines for the process.

You must have completed your degree or masters and obtained your qualification before your start date to be able to join Forvis Mazars. This is to ensure your visa application can be processed before you start.

Once the immigration process has started, please ensure you avoid any international travel as this can impact your visa application and start date at Forvis Mazars.

I have international qualifications can I still apply?

Yes, please submit your equivalent qualifications in the education section.  If you aren’t sure, please go ahead and apply and we can work out your conversion to UCAS points for you.

We will ask for confirmation and proof of your qualifications before you start work. You must have completed your studies and been awarded your qualification before joining.

I require or may require visa sponsorship, what is the process?

We have deadlines to ensure we can bring candidates through our process to be hired in time to begin and complete visa processing in time for their start dates. These deadlines are non-negotiable and are due to the length of time required to progress through our recruitment process and the application process for a Skilled Worker visa.

Your offer of employment at Forvis Mazars is subject to you having the Right to Work in the UK that lasts the duration of the programme you have applied to. Please let us know on your application form if you require sponsorship to obtain the Right to Work in the UK at any point of being employed by Forvis Mazars.

Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for the following roles due to the salary requirements established by the Home Office:

  • All school leaver roles, including school leaver work experience.
  • All undergraduate, internship and placement programmes. However, you may be eligible to apply if you are in full-time education in the UK and hold a valid Student visa for the duration of the internship or placement.
  • Graduate roles which are not based in London or Sutton.

The UK Home Office regularly changes its immigration rules. If this happens, and the changes affect your application before your start date, we will be required to change how we manage your application, in line with the new regulations. Many changes in immigration laws have taken place recently, we encourage you to research your position at the outset of your application.

You are required to notify us immediately if your immigration status changes after you’ve submitted your application. For both temporary and permanent roles, you will be asked to provide evidence of your right to work, and you must maintain and be able to demonstrate your right to work throughout the duration of your employment. Please refer to the official UK government website for further information –  https://www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/work-visas

Please contact mcareers@mazars.co.uk if you need advice or further information.

Will I be reimbursed for travel for the in-person interview?

I have transferred my application to a new role. Will I have to repeat the application process again?

No, you’ll stay at the same stage of the process.

You won’t need to repeat any assessments. However, we may ask you to share your motivation for applying to a different business area, so we can better understand your interests.

If anything is needed from you, we’ll explain it clearly and guide you through the next steps.

What happens if the role I have applied for is filled?

When you apply, you can select a second-choice office location and service line. If your first-choice role fills before you’ve completed all stages of the process, we’ll do our best to progress your application for your second-choice option and we’ll keep you informed every step of the way.

I have applied for a role, but I can no longer see it on your website – are you still recruiting?

We recruit for most roles on a rolling basis, which means positions may close once we’ve found the right candidate. Some of our roles stay open until they’re filled, while others have fixed deadlines. If a role is no longer visible on our website, it’s likely that applications have closed.

For roles with set deadlines or assessment dates, you’ll find those clearly listed in the job description. Either way, we always recommend applying as early as possible to avoid missing out.

When can I receive an update on my application?

We’ll keep you updated at every stage of the process.

You’ll receive email notifications as your application progresses, so please check your inbox (and your junk folder, just in case). We really appreciate your patience and we’ll be in touch as soon as we can.

If you’re concerned you haven’t heard from us, feel free to get in touch at mcareers@mazars.co.uk.

I have been invited to take a telephone interview but I can’t see a slot?

Don’t worry, new interview slots are released each week.

You’ll receive an email as soon as new times become available. These slots can fill up quickly, so we recommend booking yours as soon as you can.

Please note we’re only able to send two invitations to book your interview. If you haven’t booked a slot after the second invite, we’ll unfortunately have to withdraw your application.

My email/telephone number has changed – what should I do?

It’s important we can stay in touch with you.

If your contact details have changed, just email us at mcareers@mazars.co.uk with your updated information. We’ll make sure your application is updated so you don’t miss any important updates.

I require extra time or reasonable adjustments for assessments, what should I do?

How can I practice before I take the Forvis Mazars online assessment?

Our online assessment is short, easy to navigate, and starts with warm-up questions to help you feel at ease. It’s designed to understand your natural strengths the ones that drive success at Forvis Mazars, and it adapts to different thinking styles, supporting both diversity and neurodiversity.

To get the most out of the experience:

Find a quiet space where you can focus.

Read the instructions carefully.

Answer honestly and instinctively.

We will also share a video to guide you through what to expect when you are invited to complete the test. Once you’ve completed the assessment, you’ll receive a personalised feedback report highlighting your top two strengths and one area for development, so you’ll gain insights, whatever the outcome.

What are the stages of the application process?

Take a look at our selection process page to find out.

Is there a closing date for applications?

If you’re unsure whether you’ll be ready in time, we recommend applying for the next intake instead.

My qualification hasn’t been formally awarded, can I still apply?

Yes, you can still apply. However, you’ll need to have formally completed your studies and received your qualification before you join us. This includes any degree or master’s qualification you’re currently working towards.

We’ll ask for confirmation and proof of your qualifications before your start date, so it’s important that everything is finalised by then.

What is the starting salary?

We offer a competitive starting salary for all early careers roles, which increases as you progress and pass your professional exams.

If you’re successful in securing a role, full details about your salary and benefits will be shared as part of your offer. We’re committed to rewarding your growth and supporting your development every step of the way.

You can apply once per academic year (September to August) for an early careers role at Forvis Mazars.

If you’ve already applied for a role starting in, for example, September 2026, you won’t be able to apply again for another role with the same start date. However, you’re welcome to apply for future opportunities such as roles starting in September 2027.
